Richlands police arrest two on felony charges

RICHLANDS – A Pounding mill man is charged with embezzlement, grand larceny, larceny with intent to sell or distribute stolen property and selling stolen property.
Ryan Edward Hardy, 21, was indicted by the grand jury Nov. 10. He was arrested Nov. 21 and taken before a magistrate where he was released on bond pending arraignment in circuit court.
The charges are the result of an investigation by the Richlands Police Department into complaints of items missing from Radio Shack in the Gateway Shopping Center.
In an unrelated matter, a Cedar Bluff woman was indicted on one count of fraudulent check. Renea Nicole Miller-Ball, 25, was arrested Nov. 20 by Richlands Police officers and taken before a magistrate where she was released on bond until arraignment in circuit court.
The charge is the result of an investigation into the alleged passing of a fraudulent check at Grant’s Supermarket on Clinch Street in Richlands.
