H1N1 vaccine clinics offered at DMV locations

The Mount Rogers Health District, in cooperation with the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will offer free H1N1 vaccines to the public at the Bristol, Abingdon, Marion, Wytheville, and Galax Customer Service Centers on Thursday, February 25 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Walk-ins welcome. No appointments are necessary. Health officials are advising everyone to get the vaccine. It’s safe, it’s free, and it’s not too late.

The H1N1 vaccine is also available at all local health department offices. For more information, or to schedule an appointment to get the H1N1 vaccine at the office, please call your local health department.
