Grand jury returns indictments against 72 people

Below is a list of indictments returned by the Tazewell County Grand Jury sitting on March 9, 2010. The Commonwealth presented a total of 72 indictments on 69 individuals with 41 individuals residing in Tazewell County and 28 individuals residing outside of Tazewell County. Of the 28 individuals residing outside of Tazewell County, 15 reside in West Virginia. Of the 69 individuals indicted, 45 were men and 24 were women. The Grand Jurors returned 70 True Bills and 2 No True Bills for a total of 475 counts. Twenty-One indictments were originally sealed pending arrest. One superseding indictment was also handed down.
