The Friends of the Library are hosting their annual membership luncheon at the Buchanan County Public Library on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 1 p.m.
The theme for this year's luncheon is “1950’s Opening Night Gala on Broadway”. Non-alcoholic cocktails and luscious desserts will round out the event. Members and anyone who is interested in joining the Friends are invited to this free event.
The Friends’ mission is to support and promote literacy and library services for the residents of Buchanan County. One of their programs is the Imagination Library which provides a book a month to any Buchanan County child between birth and 5 years of age.
