Bandy

Mrs. Golda Bandy Conley, of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Richlands,  passed away Monday, January 30, 2012.

She was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Clarence W. and Della Jones Bandy, both Seaboard natives.

Mrs. Conley was Postmaster during WWII and a retired bookkeeper. She was a member of the Cedar Bluff United Methodist Church, which is located on the land donated by her great grandfather Andrew Jones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Conley; three sisters, Viola Griffith, Marie Claiborne, and Jacqueline Chisholm, two brothers, Richard Bandy; and son in law, Dr. Harold Spraker.

Survivors are: 

Daughter: Betty Spraker of Murfreesboro, TN

Grandsons:

Dr. John Spraker of Bowling Green, KY

Dr. Mark Spraker and wife, Ivy of Dahlonega, GA

Great Grandchildren: Benjamin Spraker and Piper Spraker

Sister: Frances Terry of Colonial Heights, VA

Nieces: Donna Murray and husband, Dwight; Louise Vance Cheryl Howel and husband, Rhudy

Nephew: Ben Griffith and wife, Shirley

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 3:00pm at the Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum #1 at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Interment will follow. Shelton

Jadyn Brooke Shelton, age 1, of Raven, Virginia, was gathered in the arms of Jesus and talent to heaven Monday, January 30, 2012 at her home.

Jadyn was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the daughter of Orris Shelton of Raven, Virginia and Tiffany Stacy of Richlands, Virginia.

Graveside services for Jadyn Brooke Shelton werenducted 12:00 noon on Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Farley Spencer officiating.
