The Marion Police Department is looking for two men in connection with unrelated meth lab incidents.
The PD said in a release Monday J.C. Delp, 35, whose last known residence is 220 West Cherry Street, Marion, is wanted in connection with drug/narcotics violations and weapons violations following an incident in a home on the 600 block of Spruce Street on Monday, Jan. 30. The PD responded to the home after the homeowner called to report a larceny of a butcher knife. During the investigation, the officers discovered a shake and bake meth lab. The homeowner reported that Delp and a female had been visiting him and had been using the room where the materials were discovered.
Delp is described as a white male, 6 feet 2 inches, 198 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, the release said.
The release said Christopher Wayne Hess, 27, whose last known address is 328 South Park Street, Marion, is wanted in connection with drug/narcotic violations stemming from an arrest warrant issued for manufacturing methamphetamine in Pennsylvania. Marion police officers were in the process of serving the Pennsylvania warrant when they found materials used in the manufacture of meth in the residence. Hess was not at the residence, and local warrants have also been issued.
Hess is described as a white male, 5 foot 5 inches, 139 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, the release said.
