The FCHS wrestling team will compete in the Region C tournament at Galax High School Friday and Saturday. The Buffaloes finished second in the Three Rivers District tournament and qualified 12 wrestlers for regionals.
Friday's weigh-in starts at noon, with firs round action beginning at 2:00. Quarterfinals begin at 3:45. First round consolations start at 6:00 with second round consolations at 7:45.
Saturday weigh-in starts at 8:00. Championship semi-finals begin at 10:00.
Consolation quarter finals start at 12:15, with consolation semi finals starting at 2:00. Fifth and sixth place matches start at 3:45 on two mats, and third-fourth and championship finals starting at 5:30 on mats one and two.
The top four in each weight classification advance to the state tournament at the Salem Civic Center February 17 and 18.
