She currently splits her time between WJHL and the Bristol Herald Courier and is the Director of Digital Media for TriCities.com.
She began her work in the communications industry as the Online Editor and Reporter for the Jonesborough Herald & Tribune in Jonesborough, Tenn.
Originally from Kingsport, Tenn. Heather graduated magna cum laude from East Tennessee State University where she majored in English with two minors: one in anthropology and another in journalism.
She lives in Johnson City with her husband, Grant, and her dog, Sadie.
